Artist statement:
I am a painter/drawer. My current body of work focuses on attachments. How we connect or disconnect to our environments natural or man made as well as the places, objects, memories, ideals and people we hold dear. I use devices such as veins, cords, threads, roots, wires, receptacles and enlarge hearts to illustrate these attachments. I am fascinated by light and its effect on things. This led me to work for over 10 years in film studios making Special FX for movies which in turn brought me to London. I am now heavily influenced by that time and work as I return to exhibiting my paintings and drawings.

I worked as a Artist and Technical Director in Digital Special FX. Including the movies Tombraider, Cradle of life, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Thunderbirds and Batman Begins. The FX work became my focus until recently, when I returned to my Drawing and Painting
