An Arts Festival? In Sydenham? This tiny corner of South East London has a great heritage of art, music & literature. Camille Pissarro lived and worked here, as did Booker Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro. More recently, the area has been home to the prestigious Sydenham International Music Festival.

Open Studios Trail: 4 & 5 July and 11 & 12 July, 10.00am-5.00pm. Come and see the work of Anne-Marie Glasheen: poet, photographic artist and author of surreal images, at 108 Perry Hill, London SE6 4EY. Tea & cakes will be also be available – weather permitting – in the garden. Annie Antoine: ceramicist and creator of art and jewellery from found objects will be joining Anne-Marie.
