Mapping Borough 1807/2007 oil paint on canvas 30.5cm x 40cm [more work below] Artist Statement: Deanna Jackson paints in oil, encaustic and watercolour and makes small wax figurative sculptures. Observational drawings provide the basis for the images. Urban life in London has always been the core inspiration.
