    This year, the South London Women Artists display and sell their original art at the WOW FESTIVAL MARKETPLACE!  Come along and visit our unique art stall selling handmade original cards and a selection of prints and original works on paper by the South London Women Artists! Original art at fabulous bargains! Why not purchase a unique gift for a friend or even something special for your own home or collection! Join in with our interactive art installation! Write down your answer on a piece of paper.  Questions you can respond to: a. What are you most proud of? b. What do we feel we should do for society? c. What advice would you give to your younger self? The paper chain will be photographed on and uploaded to the SLWA website as an example of interactive public art.   • I am woman,hear me roar!


    South London Women Artists (SLWA) is a critically acclaimed group of visual artists living and working in South London and exhibiting across the UK and internationally. International Women’s Day is very important to us, providing a voice for women on an international level, allowing us the opportunity to express ourselves as women while connecting with each other, discovering and learning about women’s experiences today. Our forthcoming exhibition, ‘I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR’ inspired by the 1971 song, ‘I am Woman’ by Helen Reddy, will take place at The AMP GALLERY on Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th March, 1 Acorn Parade, London SE15 2TZ.   • 26 to Zero Hour Online Charity Auction

    26 to Zero Hour Online Charity Auction. Supporting campaign group Zero Hour’ and their work on The Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill, in partnership with art gallery Bidding on the auction items will remain live until Sunday 21st of November. Bid now to save £1,000 on art and support climate change action. About the Auction: 26 artists have exclusively consigned artwork to our auction, alongside 8 others who have created pieces for the ‘Buy It Now’ department, to support Zero Hour, the climate change action group, who are behind the CEE Bill.

    Come and join us for Halloween and view an Art Film in response to The Pendle Witches, hosted by The Songbird Gallery with Art and Performance by SLWA Artists. Featuring Artist Michelle Baharier with supporting artists, Olivia Urquhart and Alice Lenkiewicz. A feminist film about the Pendle Witches of Lancashire. All original Art, Spoken Word, Performance, Poetry, Film and Song created by the artists. The Songbird Gallery is an initiative that promotes, exhibits and supports female artists.
