My work tends to be abstract and intuitive. Rather than replicating exactly what I see in the world around me, the art I make is a kind of distillation of my response to nature and the built environment. My work veers between geometric forms suggesting something urban and more organic shapes. In recent times, I have been working mainly on paper using water soluble pigments (pencils, crayons, gouache etc).
