Glass is fascinating to fuse as it’s slightly unpredictable. Differing results can be obtained by combining various different forms of glass {sheets, stringers, powders and crushed} by being creative with colours and by fusing at high or low temperatures.  

I have my own kiln, turning a room in my Streatham Hill flat into a workshop. This works well for pieces up to 30cm square, but for larger pieces and more advanced equipment for cold-working the glass, I use the Mary Ward Centre, Stratford.

I have had my glass pictures exhibited and sold in the Mall Galleries, St James, SW1, in the Sprout Arts Gallery in Streatham, the Woodfield Pavilion on Tooting Bec and in various Streatham Streat Festivals. . Many examples of my work can be seen on Instagram @ #brendak142
