I started off my artistic journey doing fine art photography; B&W street images, after retiring early from my day job 9 years ago.

Since 2023 I've become increasingly absorbed in collage making, some of which uses my own colour photographs as a base. Found materials - paper & plastic ephemera in particular, combined with fabric, stitching and mark making are wonderful fun to compose together.

I've exhibited individually and in group shows at community venues, and at a local art school in Aotearoa-New Zealand.

My art pieces are (approx.) A4, 5x7" and 4x4" single editions; semi and fully abstract works which evoke nature, landscapes, or quirky urban juxtapositions. These are usually for sale.

Additionally, recently I've completed two mixed media murals focusing on the environmental state and impact of infrastructure works, on remnant un-piped streams in my New Zealand home city Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington. With also living in London, one of these murals combines a Wellington urban stream and London's New River together; entitled Confluence. (Note murals NFS)

Through meeting a SLWA artist (stitching a fabric piece in a café!) I’m delighted to join an actively exhibiting and welcoming group for women artists, whilst I'm living in London.
