I am an artist and curator who works between London and Hannover.

Everyday objects and the contemporary visual landscape are key starting points for my images. Using a range of materials and processes, from drawing to digital print, painting, photography, sculpture, installation and spoken word, I communicate my ideas in multi-layered collections which explore themes which include the sublime, earth power, climate change, the individual and civil society.

My art works play on the tension between abstraction and representation, the handmade and the digital, meaning and decoration, humour and tragedy, the stratosphere and the microcosm. They are works are made to ignite your curiosity and create a series of conversation pieces for the domestic interior, the gallery space or the expanded field.

As a commissioning artist, I work for specific audiences within context to develop tailormade outcomes, I thrive on collaborative projects.

I studied Art and Design at Sir John Cass School of Art, London and Art History at Leeds University. Trained as an Art Teacher, at Cardiff Institute of Higher Education and worked for many years as a teacher and lecturer in London, sharing my passion for and leading in, art and design education and access to the arts in Schools, Adult and Community Learning and in Universities.

I have been working full time as an artist since 2020. A number of my works are in private collections in the UK, USA, Netherlands and Germany.
